The grounds are both private and secure. Close by, and within sight of the apartment, is the picturesque La Fontana Canal and Marina where boats of all types are moored for easy access to the sea. A short stroll along the seafront to the right takes you to the Arenal beach, with its many attractions, and to the left the walk to the Port of Jávea will take around fifteen minutes. There are several supermarkets nearby. The historic old town of Jávea, about 3 km away, is well worth a visit, and there is a choice of golf courses within a 25 minute radius.

The Costa Blanca or 'White coast' is a stretch of the Spanish coast that extends along the Mediterranean and corresponds to the province of Alicante. "Costa Blanca" is named after the white and pink Almond blossoms that bloom in the spring and not the beaches, as some think. It is made up of two clearly defined scenic sectors. To the north a curtain of mountains runs parallel to the sea, descending at times to form cliffs. To the south, a vast plain of sand patches, palm trees and salt deposits make up a backdrop for the beaches.
