Villa
Fenix, Javea. 3
bedrooms sleeps 6+2 children
This
lovely villa on the lower slopes of the Montgó mountain is
furnished and equipped as the owners' home, not merely as a holiday
letting villa, and contains everything one could possibly need for
a great family holiday. The large, very private swimming pool catches
the sun all day, though shade is available to one side of the pool.
The pool is 1m deep at the shallow end and has Roman steps; at the
other end it is 2m deep.
The conservatory, normally used by guests as a dining room, is glazed,
with sliding doors, and. overlooks the pool, as does the lounge
- a cool and restful room with comfortable furnishings, including
a sofa bed. The music room/study also overlooks the pool; we can
put one or two extra beds in here if required. The kitchen is vast
(and most efficient!) with no shortage of equipment including, for
the safety of guests, a special shelf full of plastic glasses and
jugs for use around the pool.
The Arenal sandy beach is 12 minutes away by car, and there are
also other beaches for windsurfing, sailing, and jet skiing. The
historic town of Jávea is literally minutes away, and a little
further on from the town is the port, with a variety of attractions.

in Javea
The
charming town of Javea (or Xabia in Valenciano) lies between the
Capes of San Antonio and La Nao, on the northern section of the
Costa Blanca
Bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, and sheltered from the continental
winds by Mount Montgo, it is no wonder that the World Health Organization
once selected Javea as having a near-perfect climate for longevity!
With it's mild year-round temperatures, varying landscapes - from
sandy coastlines to rugged mountain areas - and extensive tourist
facilities, Javea has still managed to preserve all the charm
of an ancient fishing village, and is truly the jewel in the crown
of Spain's coastal communities.
