on a large private detached plot, Casa Dos Palmeras is located in
a quiet cul-de-sac location close to the heart of the popular destination
of Calpe, on Spain's Glorious Costa Blanca…. The blue flag
beaches, and fantastic selection of shops and restaurants of this
resort are only a five minute drive away from the house, or indeed
may be walked to in under 15 minutes. The Casa is a traditional
Spanish finca that has been fully restored and modernised to offer
the traveller every consideration for that perfect family vacation,
yet the owners have retained all of the charm that bygone Iberian
home, with every eye to detail and no expense spared…. The house boasts many luxurious amenities, to the rear of the property we have, a large private and enclosed garden area, which is host to orange and lemon trees, palm trees to shade you during the day, a large private floodlit pool, 10 person, touch control heated massage Jacuzzi spa, with integrated cd player, and floodlights for those romantic Iberian nights under the stars!!, outdoor shower and BBQ areas, large open terraces to the upper and lower accommodation, sun beds and seating for up to 16 persons, and many sun blinds and canopies to escape the heat of the Mediterranean sun, the spa is also excellent for those who suffer from joint pain or lead a stressful lifestyle!!, and may be enjoyed with the Spanish sun, or covered by a large sun parasol To the front elevation of the property, we have large, floodlit Italian style gardens with tropical fauna, and private off road parking for up to 3 vehicles. |

| The
accommodation is set over two levels, of the finca, with there being
a total of 6 bedrooms, which can sleep from 12-16 persons, or two
large families. The house also has 2 kitchens, 2 lounges, 2 complete
bathrooms, and 2 en-suite shower rooms. To the upper level we have
a fully self contained 2 bed roomed unit, with one king-size room,
which has full hot and cold air conditioning, and one room with
3 beds, also with full hot and cold air-con and ceiling fan, sharing
a full bathroom, separate kitchen with all amenities, including
oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and fresh fruit
juicer, and also of course, large fridge freezer. To the lounge
there is a large screen television, with full sky satellite coverage,
dvd/cd player, large log burning stove, and super large comfortable
sofas for those relaxing nights after the long sunny days, also
to the lounge we have full hot and cold air conditioning, and ceiling
fan… The upper level enjoys a large terrace from the kitchen, which may be fully covered by sun blinds for total privacy, a large table with seating for 8 persons, and outdoor terrace heater, steps lead down to the lower ground level.. On the ground level, we have another two bed roomed separate unit, with full bathroom, large king-size room, and smaller bedroom with bunk bed. This unit has a separate kitchen and diner, lounge, with sky satellite TV, and DVD player, ceiling fans to the lounge with air conditioning to the bedroom. This unit is also equipped to the same high standard as the upper floors, with all kitchen amenities, and fine furnishings. A welcome pack is provided for all guest bookings upon arrival, the house also has iron and board, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The owner is personally on hand to deal and assist with your holiday stay, and can arrange car hire, personal airport collection, maid cleaning and baby-sitting services as required. They will also advise on local restaurants and places of interest to visit. To the side of the house, again on the lower ground floor we have two further bedrooms, both en suite, offering double sized beds, and these rooms again have been decorated and equipped to the highest standards, and both have hot and cold air-con. No expense has been spared in the fitting of this casa, from the unique hand cut floor tiles from the Tarragona Mountains, to the hand made and painted crockery, with designer cutlery. The owners want you only to relax and enjoy, and to live, not exist! Discounts are available on longer stays of over 2 weeks, and parties of more than 12 may be able to be accommodated with extra beds, at an extras cost, so if your party is larger than 12 persons, please enquire |

| Calpe
and its surrounding area are filled with wonders for all age ranges
and tastes, Calpe with its cultural status offers fine arts within
dozens of art galleries, antiques galore, and tiny craft shops with
hand made goods filling the shelves. For the sporty there is cycling,
walking, scuba diving, tennis, golf and much more all just a few
kilometres away. For the younger end we have the attractions of
Mundomar sea world, Aqualandia Water Park, and Terra Mitica theme
park, or why not hop over to Ibiza from the port at Denia. Whatever
you want from a holiday, Calpe has it all. Not far from Calpe you
will find the villages of Altea and Moraira, each with its own unique
character, Calpe has some of the best beaches with facilities for
all, including disabled access to the sea, funfairs for the children,
and a vast range of shopping arcades filled with the best of Spanish
crafts, Moraira is one of the most beautiful towns virtually untouched
by tourism due to its unique coastal position... The two churches of Calpe are certainly worth a visit. Close to each other the Iglesia Antigua and the church Senora de las Nieves are both located in the centre of Calpe. Build in the 15th century the old church had been recondition many time over the past centuries, as the city had been attacked by pirates many times. The Calpe tourist information at the Avenida ejercitos espanoles (Tel. 965 83 69 20) can be reached passing trough the streets of Calpe with its shops, restaurants, bars, and fine stores. Calpe's two main beaches the cantal roig and the playa arenal are widely known for its fine sand. Together with the other two beaches, la fossa and the bay of Gasparet which also belongs to the city, Calpe offers many kilometers of excellent swimming and surfing possibilities, also for the golfers Calpe offers its own course, alongside the best courses on this stretch of coast.. Calpe is a town of a near perfect combination of romantic village together with sun and beach. In between Altea to the south and Javea to the north, Calpe with its about 13 000 habitants is known for its rock called the penon de lfach. This massive rock has been inspiring people from everywhere to come and enjoy the nearly perfect view around the bays and the Costa Blanca. |
