This
is an excellent new villa with fantastic views overlooking the Jalon
Valley. The property consists of 3 bedrooms (1 x Double, 2 x Twin)
on the top floor and 1 double bedroom, shower room, kitchenet and
pool table on the same level as the pool (see
pictures). This bedroom has its own shower/toilet, fridge, sink
dartboard and pool table (€1 per game). The bedrooms have portable
fans for the summer. In the kitchen, there is a washing machine, microwave,
iron & board, fridge freezer, oven, hobb and usuals. The lounge
has a ceiling fan, TV and hi fi, log fire and electric portables for
the cooler months. The dining area has seating for up to 8 people
but you will find yourself eating mostly round the pool BBQ. The swimming
pool dimensions are, 8m x 4m. Shallow end 2 ft 6ins and 10ft at the
deep end. The beaches of Calpe and Moraira are only 20 minutes by
car and there are more than 20 good restaurants within 15km.

The villa (house) is an excellent base for combining sea, beach and
sporting activities with driving, riding (horses or mountain bikes),
walking, biking, climbing or just roaming the surrounding mountains.
The valleys lined with fruit and almond trees - an endless sea of
pink/white blossom in spring - and the unspoiled mountain pueblos
are a delight to explore.
Please Note: There are steps leading up to the villa and this could
present a problem for the elderly or for families with young children
who need pushchairs etc. Building work, behind the villa will be ongoing
for a few months. This is further up the hill and the noise is minimal.
Previous clients have remarked that this proved to be no problem and
did not spoil their holiday in any way.
The produce of the local wineries is well worth sampling - the tiny
winery in Parcent supplies the Spanish Royal family. After a quiet
glass of wine and a few almonds from the estate while watching the
sun set dramatically behind Parcent, there are memorable restaurants
of all types to try in the area. The historic cities of Valencia and
Alicante are just 75 minutes away. A car is essential.
Golf Information La Asmoladora is ideally placed for golf - fifteen
course´s within about an hour. These include three championship
course, the beautiful Olazabal inspired La Sella course 25 minutes
away, the Ballesteros designed Oliva Nova course 40 minutes away and
the links course, El Saler, one of the top fifty courses in the world,
an hour away. The casa is perfect for two couples or a family wanting
a relaxing holiday while staying in an area of idyllic, spectacular
rural beauty.
