The apartment is the upper half of a wonderfully renovated farmhouse set in a tranquil and unspoilt area of the fertile Jalon valley in south east Spain. Plentiful wildlife, beautiful views of 3,000ft mountains, quiet and peaceful yet only 40 - 50 mins to the pleasant coastal resorts such as Calpe, Moraira, Javea and Denia, and only 3 miles to the picturesque village of Castell de Castells with all its amenities. The owners live in the lower half of the farmhouse and will be pleased to assist with any enquiries about the area. The prehistoric cave paintings at Petracos are within walking distance.

Bedroom: Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps.
Bathroom: Spacious bathroom with wc and bath with shower over.
Kitchen: Gas hob, microwave, gas cool box, all necessary utensils, pans, etc.
Living Room: The atmospheric living room/kitchen area with open beams and log burning stove, leads out onto a south facing terrace with breathtaking mountain and valley views.
Cleaning/towels/linen: Towels and linen, iron and ironing board are included.

As the house is in the countryside and at the end of a half kilometre track, electricity is provided by generator and our natural spring water is pumped from a well. Although potable, bottled drinking water is also supplied, Car hire is essential but not suitable for Porsches!

Outside: Large private terrace, south facing mountain and valley views, completely rural, patio furniture, barbecue and tiled area to the side.

Coast/Beach: 40 mins driving to various blue flag beaches and coves.

Golf: Various golf courses are to be found near the coastal towns.

Travel: Alicante airport is a 1 and a half hour drive. Car hire is essential.

Distances: 3 miles to nearest village, Castell de Castells.
1 mile to cave paintings at Petracos.
Approx. 25 miles to Coast.

Further details
Local village of Castell de Castells has shops, bars, restaurants, banks, museum, etc.
The area is ideal for nature, walking, photography, etc. Over 68 different species of birds have been identified from the property in the last 10 months to May ´06.
