Calpe
is a popular holiday destination in the Costa Blanca Spain.
Above: This is a picture of the famous Penon de Ifach
(Calpe Rock) standing at 332 meters high it is a nature reserve
and home to a variety of birds. Calpe port is just visible
on the right.
In this picture Calpe Rock is visible on the left and the
Mediterranean is top and left. The stretch of water bottom
right is the salt lakes, home to a bunch of Flamingoes. If
you travel to the right, Calpe main town is half a mile.
This
is the view of the top of the great rock. In the distance
is Moraira. I would like to thank Simon Heard for the use
of these great pictures. Simon flies a microlight plane along
the Costa Blanca. Not a bad job if you can get it!
